This qualification reflects the role of individuals who provide leadership and strategic direction in the marketing and communications activities of an organisation. They analyse, design and execute judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual and managerial competencies.
Their knowledge base may be highly specialised or broad within the marketing and communications field. Typically they are accountable for group outcomes and the overall performance of the marketing and communication, advertising or public relations functions of an organisation.
Dalton College has admission requirements as follows:
Students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of their course commencement at the college
Students applying for the Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication will need to provide evidence of satisfactory completion of Australian Year 11 (or equivalent) or Certificate III or higher.
Student must have completed all core units in BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication.
Either a minimum IELTS test score of 5.5 or equivalent for direct entry into a VET course, or IELTS score of 4.5 or equivalent with an ELICOS (up to 20 weeks) to be taken before the main VET course.
Evidence that, within two years of their application date, they have successfully completed in Australia a foundation courses or a senior secondary certificate of education or a substantial part of a Certificate III or higher level qualification, from the Australian Qualifications Framework.
For levels 1 and 2 students only, successful completion of Dalton College Language and Numeracy Test conducted on Dalton campus (for onshore international students ONLY.)
Course Price: $12500 = Tuition Fees (AUD 11800.00) + Enrolment Fees (AUD 200.00) + Material Fees (AUD 500.00)
The course duration is 52 weeks of full – time face-to-face study including holidays/break, with a requirement to attend classes for 20 hours per week.
Note: For students whom withdraw prior to completion, a Statement of attainment will only be provided for units of competency completed.
